Jonathan Cauwood

As a member of Ethical Quest’s leadership and professional development team, Jonathan or “JC” helps executives fulfil their potential, deliver challenging objectives, and overcome the ‘thorny’ issues that won’t go away.

JC started his career managing National Security operations within the British Government, where he developed expertise in analysis and human behavioural science. He advised the Prime Minister and his negotiating team during Northern Ireland peace talks, before subsequently becoming a British diplomat.

He later joined Deutsche Bank where he advised the CEO and senior executives on risk, misconduct, reputation, crisis management and security.

JC has a successful track record in working with leaders to development their potential and create high performing teams; identify and resolve organizational barriers to success; manage crises and resolve sensitive issues.

JC is also an expert in digital transformation and is frequently brought in to bridge the gap between technology departments and an organization’s
non-technical leaders. He is often asked by the British government to work with allies to modernise their people and technology capabilities.

JC is an executive coach, having completed the Ashridge Business School’s one year Coaching for Organisational Consultants programme. JC retains UK government security clearance (SC).
